Some weddings follow tradition. Erin and Beau threw tradition out the window and replaced it with gothic glamour, dramatic red and black styling, candlelit tables, and a celebration that was unapologetically them.

Held on Halloween, their wedding was a spectacular blend of romance and rock-and-roll energy, complete with a stunning custom gown, moody details, and a reception that looked like it had stepped straight from a gothic fairytale.

This wedding was later featured in Rock n Roll Bride, and remains one of the most unique celebrations I've had the privilege of photographing.

Adding an extra layer to the story, I photographed the entire day while eight months pregnant. Between navigating a baby bump, climbing onto chairs for cake shots, and chasing moments across the venue, it's proof that photographers will do just about anything for the perfect image.

Erin and Beau created a day that was bold, joyful, a little bit spooky, and completely unforgettable.
